From UCF Student to Tech Executive: Jason Quintana Shares His Story

Community Tech Co-Founder and COO Jason Quintana is returning to the University of Central Florida to share something a little different from the technology we build every day: his own story.

Jason, a UCF Industrial Engineering alumnus, will speak with students at the Blackstone LaunchPad about his journey from college to corporate leadership and entrepreneurship. Today, alongside co-founding Community Tech, Jason serves as an AVP and COO and has built his career around strategy, operations, process improvement, and growing technology companies.

His path wasn’t built around one perfectly mapped-out career plan. Instead, it has been shaped by taking opportunities, continuously learning, and being willing to step into roles with more responsibility.

That experience eventually helped lead to the creation of Community Tech.

At Community Tech, Jason brings many of those same principles into how we operate: understanding the problem first, improving inefficient processes, listening closely to customers, and building technology that makes day-to-day operations easier for the communities and security teams we serve.

His conversation at UCF will focus on creating opportunities after graduation, building a career in technology and leadership, and what it really looks like to balance an executive career while also building a startup.

For us, it’s especially meaningful to see one of Community Tech’s founders return to where part of his journey began and share what he has learned with the next generation of students, entrepreneurs, and technology leaders.
